The Kids Knit Programme has been profesionally designed with a clear understanding of what motivates children and the different ways individuals learn. It compliments the Curriculum for Excellence and is ideal for fulfulling a number of aspects of JASS (Junior Award Scheme, Scotland).
What could be better than encouraging our
children to be creative? Knitting is a skill that will enrich their lives in so many ways, and is something that they will return to again and again. It is well known to have theraputic effects as well as educational benefits. But perhaps more importantly, learning to be capable with ones hands and developing an "I can do it!" attitude will stand them in good stead for whatever they decide to do in the future.
